Urns

All urns are created and finished by me. My urns are turned from wet wood, then allowed to dry slowly over a period of weeks. Then when they are dry, they are put back on the lathe for some final touches. Several coats of polyurethane oil are applied and when the finish has dried they are buffed to a luster finish.

All of my urns are created from trees that have been felled due to development, disease, safety issues etc. and destined for mulch or the landfill. I use almost any locally available hardwoods. The most common are poplar, maple (both ambrosia and common) and cherry, but I also use walnut, bradford pear, boxelder and sycamore among others.

All Urns are $575 with free ground shipping within the fifty United States. Contact me for shipping costs if there is a need for other shipping methods or shipping to addresses outside the continental United States.
